The beginning of the end ...
Of the Soviet Empire. For my people at least. After 30 years of a divided Germany, the people of East and West Berlin began chipping away at the Wall. My cousin Bettina's husband Hans, a trucker who drives throughout Europe, was in Berlin on that day 20 years ago and chipped off some pieces of the Wall. This is mine.
