Some advice for tax evaders

AP

Nancy Killefer, who failed for a year and a half to pay employment taxes on household help, has withdrawn her candidacy to be the first chief performance officer for the federal government, the White House said Tuesday.

Speaking as someone who worked 'under the table' for years at a time, PAY CASH and DON'T KEEP RECORDS. The IRS can't prove something of which no records exist. As Tom Clancy said in one of his novels, "If it didn't get written down, it didn't happen."

It may come back and bite ya on the ass, though. It's the reason my Social Security retirement benefit is less than $700 a month. Oh well...
