Kimmel did a damn good job I think. He was brutal but fair. Some of the material rode that line but I don't think he jumped over.
Listening to the jokes almost makes me hope for a Romney win. A President Romney would be a comedian's wet dream, even more so than Bush. George W. Bush was a clown, Mitt Romney is a six-foot cut out of a clown.
This does prove, IMHO, that real good political comedy only comes from the left. The right hasn't figured that out yet (or ever!) Here's the difference between right and left: The left-leaning crowd left the dinner still chuckling at Kimmel's routine, the right wing crowd walked out hoping he has a car accident on the way home.
He got some good ones in, especially at the Mittster.

"Right-wing comedy" is an oxymoron, and inadvertent at best. There's nothing funny about wingnuts.
