*If there's one thing I remember my dad bitching about during the Vietnam days was how many college kids got deferrments. While he was a defense contractor and made a good living from Grumman's and Republic Aircraft's contracts, he realized the injustice that was being perpetrated. The kids who couldn't afford college got drafted, the kids who weren't 'privileged' enough to know a congressman or senator went too.
