I've seen helos go in the drink and emerge with the crew chief wet up to his knees, but never this deep!

The naval pilots of these helicopters got in trouble for these splashdowns, but how else were they supposed to pick up chicks at Lake Tahoe?

The trouble they're in with the Navy is as nothing compared to the trouble they're in with the California Department Of Boating and Waterways for not getting their rigs inspected for Quagga and Zebra mussels before putting them in Lake Tahoe! I wouldn't wanta be in their soggy shoes!
