Gonna be in Manhattan in a little while with the Mrs. to see our lovely and talented niece Lauren perform in a showcase for Broadway agents, directors, and producers. Break a leg, sweetie!
It was an excellent show, all the actors post-grads at either the University of Iowa, Michigan State, and Brooklyn College. The kids were all unbelievably talented. An eye opener though, my niece, in one of the vignettes, played a lesbian. Not that I have a problem with it but seeing my little nice kiss a woman (or anybody for that matter, being she's still the six year old who I taught how to play with a Slinky to me; she's 25) was eye opening.
