I saw it last night (I'm not big on movies; I wait for them to come on cable). My thoughts: The book was better. More character development. I guess they thought the only people who'd watch the movie were those who've read the
Hitchhiker series. If you haven't read the series or at least
Guide, don't bother with the movie.
