Blog while you can ...

Net Neutrality just went into the dumpster:

It would be hard to imagine life without the Internet. It has become part of our daily lives, where we can gather news, meet people, exchange ideas, and register for classes. Here are just a few examples of what the Internet will be like if Congress fails to restore strong Net Neutrality protections:

Somebody at the top doesn't like the Brain? They send me a bill I deem not worth paying for the privilege of blogging and that ends it. Not that we're at the top of any watch lists for 'progressive subversives' but suppose you didn't have Crooks and Liars? Or Think Progress? Or Raw Story? Or Media Matters? Or BuzzFlash?

Once more, the Bush Corporatists have commandeered the process, able to control the message that gets out to the public. They did it with the press and now they're going to do it to the alternative voices.

Proud to be an American ... not so much anymore. The America I knew disappeared on 7 November 2000.

Hope you had a happy and safe 4th.

Great thanks to Tengrain for the pic.
