Claude Choules has died in a Perth nursing home. He'd reached the remarkable age of 110.
Claude Choules served in Britain's Royal Navy in the so-called Great War.
He also served in the Royal Australian Navy during the Second World War.

The Last ...
The last living veteran of World War 1 has died. It was supposed to be the "War To End All Wars" but it only put us on a course to the place we are now. Rest easy, old timer:
