Ya, sometimes Vietnamese is easy 'nuff to understand. Like there's a problem that some of the Vietnamese coffee shops in East San Jose are having with the coppers. It seems like these coffee shops are competing with each other to see who can have their waitresses wear the least. There was one place whose waitresses were totally topless. Uhm, not kosher with the popo for some reason ;). The Vietnamese community is somewhat baffled, pointing out that unless you're Vietnamese you're not going into these places (hmm, those li'l dudes are *tough*, as the fact that they whipped us up down left and right while wearing pajamas and shower shoes and hauling around 30 year old weapons proves rightly enough), and no Vietnamese complained about the cafes', so what's the beef? Heh.

Chúc mừng năm mới
Happy New Year to you too!
Christmas last year when I was in Da Nang looked and felt just like this.

Bt, the topless VN coffee shop deal is going on in every Little Saigon in CA. We should go for coffee...
