I sometimes wonder if the Republican Party has become the receding roar of white America as it pines for a way of life that will never return. - Holy Crap!
I would have said "goes batcrap crazy" rather than "pines" but a glimmer of light shone through for just a second. Or maybe it was a hot flash. He's at that age...
Maybe when he gets the line from the Steve Martin song, "memories of what never was becomes the good old days", he'll understand. Probably not.
