On Saturday, the Dallas Morning News published an article about the battle between Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison and Gov. Rick Perry for the Republican spot in the Texas gubernatorial election. In the article, a political consultant to Perry said that Hutchison is making the GOP into a “whorehouse“:
He's a little late in coming to that realization! The GOP has been a very expensive pretty much 'whites only' whorehouse, and not in the good way, for many, many years. It's unique in that its patrons pay the whores to fuck everybody but them.
Perry political consultant Dave Carney said the Republican governor agrees the party should welcome new voters.
“But that doesn’t mean you take your principles and throw them out the door and become a whorehouse and let anybody in who wants to come in, regardless,” Carney said.
Like people of color and realists, I suppose, or maybe just less than ideologically 'pure' Aryans. Pretty big talk coming from one of the towel boys.
Just as a disclaimer, I think the aptly named Carney has insulted brothels. I draw the line at the word 'whore' being used as a synonym for 'prostitute'. A prostitute is a working girl who provides a service that is beneficial. A whore is a low-class person, and while there are women who sell themselves who are whores, the Repugs are most decidedly whores of the lowest sort who are not beneficial to anybody except Big Money.
