Light blogging this A.M.

Off to the doc this morning to get my BP checked for a new scrip.

Four inches of snow on the ground this morning. Up on Donner Summit, 8 miles away where I rode the trial this past weekend, over a foot. I hope it melts. Waaaaah...

See yas later.

Update:

BP was 120 over 83. Best it's been. New scrip. Lost 5 pounds. Good to go.

Hope they get 80 plowed out by tomorrow AM. Heading down to Mono Lake, want to take 80 to Reno, then 395 down...

Glad you're doing okay, bro!

And by the way, they had video of your town on our local news, pardner. Still amazes us how early you get snow.

Usually some place up in the Rockies like Sasquatch Ass, Colorado gets the first snow, but I think we got the honor this year. Four whole months without snow. It's just about melted off by now.

Just looked out the window. Snowing again. Sigh.

I was kinda thrilled by my BP, especially since a cute little Filipina PA took it.

She didn't have to take a restraining order out on ya, did she? ;)

Nah, I got a permanent one on file. ;-)

My Jeep club was wanting to run the Deer Valley trail, and I was gonna inaugurate my new Jeep (woohoo!), which right now is an offroad virgin (heh). But a couple of buddies of ours have a friend in Tahoe who attempted the trail two days ago, and it shows a Jeep hood high stuck in a snowbank at the trail entrance, with a winch cable coming into the picture from the side to yank their ass out. And it's gonna snow some more today, they say. Crap. Guess I'll have to stay home and wash the Jeep or somethin', heh.

Boreal got 20 inches of snow and has commenced snowmaking so they can open by Halloween. It's a point of pride that they open for skiing first. I don't think it's going to snow any more for a while. I'm going to ride a trial tomorrow a little ways down the hill from there. We'll see how it goes.

Congrats on the new Jeep!
