Labor Day is a 3-day weekend signifying the end of summer. In this anti-labor climate it has no other meaning any more.

Sorta like Memorial Day. It's all about buying stuff.

At least on Memorial Day people still go decorate Veterans' graves. Maybe the new tradition on Labor Day will be to decorate the grave of the middle class.
