[...] Whether it's campaign contributions or PACs, this nomination process was over before it began because the very, very rich Romney is Wall Street's pick. [...]
All this primary nonsense is entertaining to be sure but the outcome was decided long ago.
Bonus quote:
...the real story of this primary process, the first presidential election since Citizens United, has been consciously ignored when, indeed, it is more significant than who Republicans pick to lose to President Obama.
The Repugs are gearing up for '16. Willard is their sacrificial goat because it wouldn't look good if they sat this one out. Their first job is to quiet the Tea Party Backfire down. The tail was not supposed to wag the dog.
Ironically, we owe Obama's second term to the teabaggers.

Romney was selected by the Wall Street royals while Obama was taking the Oath of Office, perhaps the day after the election.
I fear it's going to get a lot uglier in the months to come. By uglier, I mean beyond the pissing contests on TV. I'm talking more tear gas and rubber bullets perhaps worse. The 1%'ers aren't going to allow Obama a second shot at the Oval Office. They need their boy in the 'White' House right now. Obama's second term could prove disastrous to their bottom line.
Hopefully, (naivety on my part, I'm sure) with reelection out of the way, Obama will start using that backbone he's recently found and begin to fix this shit.
The Occupy movement's longevity scares the shit outta the Wall Streeter's. The last thing they need is four more years of protests, pepper spray, and police beatings.
The Klown Kar Kavalcade is merely a distraction and a test. The grand regents of the GOP have been trolling with Romney, checking his weak spots and strong points. They're hoping to get all of the skeletons out there early to take advantage of voter's short memory.
It's going to be an interesting year!
Willard is being thrown to the wolves. I hope they don't get sick.
