Satan's Jewel Crown

I spend a lot of time 'auditioning' music videos for the Brain. It's hard work, but someone's gotta do it.

Sometimes I really like a particular artist, or a particular song, or both, but I wonder if they'd be appropriate. On the theory that at least some of us Godless commie fucks maybe ain't, or like this kind of music anyway, I decided to just throw it out there and let you, dear readers, decide. Subtitled for your convenience. Heh.

This is a song about redemption, and I dedicate it to Dick Cheney, for whom there will be no redemption. Wear the crown he gave you all you want while you're here, Dick, 'cuz when you go to your reward and reunite with your soul Ol' Scratch is gonna take it back. Eternal suffering is a small price for you to pay for all the suffering you've caused, asshole.

The guy with the 'Indians' shirt is Dr. John Starling, a former member of the bluegrass super group The Seldom Scene. He quit that to go make a living in his practice, but has returned to music with Carolina Star.

The other gent is Carl Jackson, who is simply the best multiple Grammy winning long-time country music superstar singer/songwriter you've never heard of.
