Since you're gonna be here in NYC today, I suggest the plans you have to meet with our "first responders" might not be a good idea ... especially since you just cut tens of millions of dollars from the security funds the federal government gives to the city. This is New York, after all, and we tend to speak our minds and many of us are pissed. You will hear about it, and probably in front of a camera.

I'm not one of those hide-under-the-bed folks but Jesus, do we have to take another hit before the White House gets its priorities straight? New York is the target, the face of America, and it makes no sense to outfit small town police and fire departments like military units while cutting funding to the place where actual attacks have taken place.
