I didn't know Trotsky's first name; thanks. I like him very much. He's quite a hero all over Europe, kind of like Che Guevara.

I guess neither of them are very popular in USA. I wonder why, lol.

One thing I particularly like in Trotsky's written works is his concept of "permanent revolution". Not meaning a "violent/bloody" kind, but a constant re-evaluation of the government's modus operanda, in order to make sure it doesn't fall into yet another stagnant bureaucratic lethargy.
