Precedent

An unusual, and welcome, bit of snark from Editor & Publisher:

Should George W. Bush Take a Cue from Judy Miller?

They both got into trouble over WMD and Valerie Plame. Surely, if he wishes, he could work out a severance package that would allow the president to receive a nice buyout package, a lucrative book deal, and a chance to publish a "Farewell Letter" in The New York Times.

Before he can profit from his misdeeds, I'd like to see him take a graduate course in clearing brush, so he'll be better prepared for retirement to his fake ranch. Along the roadside, chained to Rove, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice.
