Getting closer . . .

We're getting closer, now about 750 miles southeast of Iceland. The storm that tossed us yesterday and during the night is behind us to the east and the morning is glorious. It was ahell of a ride last night, and even Mrs. F. succumbed to the inhospitable North Atlantic. She's feeling better today, though the seas are still high. We're both experienced cruisers, having sailed around several hurricanes in the past, yet as the remnants of Ivan blew through, the 110,000 ton Queen was tossed like a dinghy. Believe it or not, I haven't slept better in a long time. To me, the motion is soothing. One of the great things about this ship, is they have a camera mounted on the bow and you can watch the waves as she dives into them on the TV in our stateroom. Impressive. More later, gotta get my morning coffee and Bloody Mary and start the day.

By the way, we're crossing a time zome every twenty four hours and I'm resetting my watch every night.
