Men and women still die just as horribly as they did when the Armistice was signed. War is still as dirty and bloody as it always was and we have learned few lessons from the last century.
Regardless of what anyone says in the many speeches given today, history will not treat us well when describing the beginning of the 21st Century and the American role in it.
