This weekend is the 10th Annual Celtic Festival in Grass Valley, California. You can listen live at KVMR.
I was reminded of this when our friends Bev and Bentley stopped by on their way to it. They were in costume, Bentley in a black kilt and Bev in a period dress. They looked very nice.
Bentley left me with this thought, "Playing the bagpipes is like blowing up an air mattress with four holes in it!"
We listened to it on the way to the supermarket. We heard some good Cape Breton fiddle music and "the liftin' o' the kilts". I'm glad it was audio only!
